Architecture lovers and design lunatics will be amazed! The Hotel Tortue in Hamburg’s city centre was extensively renovated by Chipperfield and Stephen Williams, the new interior concept was provided by legend Kate Hume. Another reason for enthusiasm is the phenomenal location. The hotel is only a one minute walk from Hamburg’s Neuer Wall and not five minutes from Jungfernstieg. This makes it the ideal starting point for a city discovery tour. Admittedly, one could also simply spend the day in the hotel, as there are two cosy bars and two restaurants in addition to a nice SPA.
